A ceramic Lacons pub sign, featuring the famous Lacon’s vibrant blue and orange falcon perched on a braided rope with the word 'Lacons' below on a white background with a blue border. Wear including knocks and scuffs mainly around the blue edge border is consistent with age. Please use the listing photos as a visual reference of condition.

The Falcon Brewery on church plain Great Yarmouth was founded in 1640 and acquired by E Lacon in 1760. Later acquired by Whitbread & Co. Ltd. in December 1965 with 354 public houses. The Falcon Brewery closed on 28th February 1968 and has since been demolished.
