This small reclaimed cast iron bedroom fire insert showcases a simple and charming design typical of its era. The decorative arched border features a repeating floral motif, while the front bars are gracefully shaped. The iron has been blackened and lightly polished, resulting in a pleasing finish.

While displaying expected signs of age, the insert remains in good antique condition with some casting marks and minor pitting. The fire brick, though showing signs of wear (cracks, chips, and breaks), remains stable within the firebox. The baffle features a decorative fleur de lis design. The back exhibits surface rust.
