A late Georgian or early Victorian cast iron fireplace insert with a grand horseshoe-shaped opening and ornate detailing. Flowing vines of leaves and grapes trail along the surround, creating a richly decorative frame that draws the eye toward the centre. A finely cast crest completes the design, adding balance and elegance.

The surface has been finished to enhance the depth of the casting. This is a statement piece that brings period character and refined detail to both traditional and contemporary interiors. Please view the listing images for condition. Due to the fire brick having been replaced with a cement repair at some point in the past, the insert is now suitable for decorative use only.
