A cast iron fire grate complete with andirons or fire dogs. The grate features a robust slatted design with riveted detailing, designed to hold logs or coal securely above the hearth floor. The fire dogs have arched legs and ball finials, giving the piece a simple and functional form suited to both period and traditional interiors.

The iron has a dark aged surface with wear consistent with previous use. Solid and well-made, this set is ready for use in a working fireplace or as a decorative hearth feature.
