Antique cast iron feeding trough, also known as a water trough. Originally used on farms for feeding pigs and other livestock. Substantial cast iron construction measuring over 10ft in length, with a front edge that slopes outwards to aid access for animals. The surface displays a rich, natural rusted patina formed through prolonged exposure to the elements. Honest wear throughout. Structurally sound and built for hard use. Commonly reclaimed and repurposed as a large garden planter or landscape feature. A striking piece with authentic agricultural provenance and a strong, weathered presence.
