A substantial terracotta form with real versatility in the garden.

Possibly intended as a pot stand or open-bottomed planter, this sculptural piece could also serve as a base for a birdbath, fountain, sundial, or decorative urn.

Its form is classical in style, with a wide footed base rising through a series of tiered bands to a central collar, then flaring outward to a thick rim. The surface shows warm natural tones with subtle colour variation from the firing process.

A reclaimed item, so knocks, scuffs, and small chips should be expected. One area of the rim shows signs of historic damage, which is documented in the images.

Solid and weighty with a strong visual presence, it would make a striking focal point in a formal or contemporary garden setting.
