Distressed Parabolic Mirror by Clarke, Chapman & Co Ltd from 1945
This large parabolic reflector was manufactured by Clarke, Chapman & Co from Gateshead in August 1945.
Polished aluminium, there is a threaded hole in the centre of the mirror and a circular etching with a cross hair to the middle.
The text reads
“OPTICAL CENTRE and CRATER LIP DISTANCE 8.6 INS”
On the back the text reads:
