A reclaimed cast iron machine base from R. A. Lister & Co, featuring the manufacturer’s name and location as part of the original casting. Much of the surface retains the original green paint, with areas of surface rust, though the base remains structurally sound.

The attached nameplate identifies this as part of a Lister & Co. Ltd AC generating plant, manufactured in Dursley, Gloucestershire, in 1957. The plant number is 17033 SOM, engine number 1235FR16, and alternator number 1460 1/1. It would have been a single-phase generator with an output of 4.5 kVA and 4.5 KW.

Ideal for restoration projects, workshop furniture, or as a display piece in industrial interiors.
