Vintage British Military Stackable Storage Stillages – SSI Schaefer 1983 – Industrial Steel Crates

Pair of Cold War-era British military storage stillages, made by SSI Schaefer in 1983. Olive-drab steel frames with ribbed/slatted metal bases. Designed to stack safely, featuring “cup” feet on the top corners. Originally used for ammunition, machinery parts, or general military stores. NSN 3990-99-138-1157 confirms UK issue and materials-handling classification.
Rugged and industrial, these stillages suit workshop, garage, or garden use. They also make striking industrial-style furniture, log storage, table bases, or display units.
