This is an antique-style candlestick converted into an electric table lamp with Empire and Regency influences. The design keeps the original structure while functioning as a practical lamp.

The base is a tripod style with three sides, each ending in animalistic paw feet. This motif appears throughout Neoclassical design and signals strength and classical reference. The central stem is fluted with vertical grooves and finished in dark, patinated bronze. The deep tone contrasts with gold-toned collars that frame the column. These collars carry acanthus leaf and floral detailing, typical of Regency and Empire design. A white cylindrical sleeve sits atop the stem to replicate a wax candle. A flame-tip bulb provides a warm amber glow. The lamp retains a period-appropriate twisted fabric flex, matching the style of the metal and base.

This is a reclaimed antique light fitting. It has been professionally rewired and tested to ensure it is in working order at the point of sale. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician or other suitably qualified professional. We accept no liability for damage, injury, or loss resulting from incorrect installation or use. This fitting requires 1 x B22 mini globe bulb. Bulb not supplied. As a reclaimed item, minor age-related marks and wear should be expected and form part of its character.
