This is a reclaimed Whiteheads Special chimney pot, originally produced by Whitehead Bros. of Halifax. Made from salt-glazed terracotta, it features a tall, faceted body with deep vertical louvres and a sharply tapered cap. The surface shows natural weathering with moss and patina that reflect its age and outdoor use. As a reclaimed item, knocks, scuffs, and small chips are to be expected—please view all listing images for a clear visual of its condition. This particular example has a distinctive lean, which may have resulted from a manufacturing defect or may have been intentional to suit a specific roofline or property. A striking piece for restoration, garden use, or as a decorative architectural feature.
