Sturdy heavy duty wooden agricultural parts storage case. Timber construction with metal reinforced corners and a riveted metal covered lid fitted with a hasp and staple lock.

Weathered vintage item with distressed military style green paint, stencilled lettering, and heavy-duty metal handles.

There is a brass plate attached to one side with the inscription “RICHARD GARRETT & SONS LTD. LEISTON 1925” and an old faded paper label address to “The Bursar, Gresham’s School HOLT, Norfolk” with the return address of “S & G Stores High Street Scunthorpe”.

The interior is generally open apart from a structure in each corner which would have been used to secure the large circular item that the case was originally made to carry.

A useful storage item with an industrial / military look, low profile and wide enough to work as a good-sized coffee table with internal storage. Please note the maximum width noted below is inclusive of the handles.
